Let the Blueprint, Rama Map, and Electron Density buttons remain active while a recipe runs

Sometimes when I am running a long recipe, I want to check the Blueprint, Rama Map, or Electron Density without having to stop and restart the recipe. Would it be possible to keep the buttons for these functions active while a recipe runs, perhaps in something like a read-only state so the course of the recipe doesn't change? In a way, these buttons are like different View Options, and it is easy to turn certain View Options on or off while a recipe runs. Also, showing things like the Electron Density can slow down a Foldit client, so it really isn't wise to leave them on the entire time a long recipe runs.
