As I observed puzzle 2244 is not in the list.
I would appreciate a proper response on the comments made on puzzle 2244, rather then delete it completely.

I see the puzzle is not listed under "Puzzles" any more, which is odd.
Its page is still available: https://fold.it/puzzles/2013542
The points that were awarded have been removed, or at least everyone who played received 1 point.

The points indeed were removed, but what will protect us from not happening it again? It is not beneficial to allocate 1 thread for each puzzle for "emergency cases".

As the person who posted that puzzle and then also closed it early and didn't allocate points when we figured out the errors in it, it actually wasn't anticipated that the puzzle page would disappear entirely from the list. It is kind of odd that it disappeared there as the page for it does exist. Presumably, those two things are related, but it might take some digging to figure out the exact mechanism.
