If you forgot your password, you press the according link on the homepage. After you put in your mail or user name you'll receive a one-time login to your profile page.
In formular to change your password your user name and e-mail address is already filled in, but when you change your password you'll receive the folling error messages:
"Your username already exists"
"Your e-mail address already exists"
Thoes messages makes it impossible to change your password.
Tested with my own account, i am able to change my password and use new password to login, didn't
get same error message.
I am unable to change my password
As you are logged in, the best way to go about this is on your page, go to edit settings, and enter the new password both times in the password field.
Please be sure that cookies/auto-complete functions are turned off/cleared in your browser.
If you are trying to access a different account and are using a new one to post your query, please use the email address the account you wish to change is listed under and send an email cgs-info@cs.washington.edu with your issue. While we can't see your password, we can verify that you are the account owner in this fashion and are happy to assist with a temporary password.
