Since the recent additions to the slider section the protein is partially covered by the behaviour window when using my laptop. Would it be possible to have an option to open the actions, undo etc. sections in a new window that stays on top but can be positioned independently.

You can do that in the Selection Interface.

One of our group members has complained that the electron density dialog is too big for her screen. In fact, it opens overlapping the score, and under the score. As a result, they can never close or move the window. Apparently, it must be underneath instead of on top. I'm not sure what the solution to big dialogs and small screens is.
Thats great madde, but not everyone uses selection interface. Nor do they want too.
If the dialog is too tall, then it should probably be redesigned to take advantage of the width of the screen (e.g. make it twice as wide but half as tall).
If this cannot be fixed, then a minimum resolution needed to play Foldit must be specified.
I really like the way in the advanced and basic interface that the open display closes when I choose another menu item from the bottom menu bar. Less clicking required.
