I think this was asked and answered previously.

The previous reason for rejection was a lack of resources on the phone. What if people could use their rosetta@home credits in exchange for using the network's resources instead of their phone's for all non-graphics processing. If that won't work, mabye we can do an ssh-based system where you can control a running foldit program on your home computer.
