Trace line for ED

The new dots are a great help. However, I was thinking it might be helpful to be able to draw a trace line instead of individual dots. Also to have a hotkey to toggle between visibility/ non-visibility of the dots/line.

I worked around the trace line by adding a continuous line of dots which makes tracing easier but is quite tedious and causes issues with the visibility during the actual protein folding. As mentioned in other threads being able to switch between visibility/ non visibility for each of dots, density, and protein would be quite helpful. Also having so many dots makes adding additional ones more difficult since only one dot can be added along any given Z-axis (not sure if I am making this point clear…). A connected trace line with a lot fewer dots might solve this problem and help with ensuring continuity of the protein chain.
