this is probably not news to you but I deliberately got problem 12 wrong - by not even trying to place the protruding beta strand in to the sheet, but instead forcing the two splayed-apart strands together. it's not especially pretty but it 'passed' the threshold score. I've attached the incorrect solution as a .png files.
I don't think this is bad news - it shows people how it's possible to get multiple solutions that have 'good' scores, even if one's obviously much better than the other.
