For several versions now, Mac OS X has supported a new fullscreen mode for applications (instead of just making a big window to fill the screen there is now an API that ties in with window & screen management to let any app window go fullscreen). I'd like to see Foldit use this much friendlier fullscreen mode.

On traditional PCs and Macs, Microsoft still owns an overwhelming market share, with 91.8 percent of all traffic coming from Windows-based machines. Among non-Microsoft operating systems, both OS X and Linux have stalled since October 2011, hovering around 6.9 percent and 1.2 percent, respectively.
Ok, but what does that have to do with changing a few lines of code to take advantage of a new feature?
