Is it just me, or does the ED data make it look like this monomer is part of some kind of giant polymer barrel?

bkoep Staff Lv 1

Interestingly enough, this protein does crystallize such that four monomers arrange into a kind of beta-barrel. However, the protein is monomeric in solution.
