Description

This is a preview of one of the upcoming Symmetry Puzzles. You can view it in Gallery Mode for today's Scientist Chat. The ...WXCXW... motif adopts a remarkably stable homodimer structure. In fact, it's so tiny, it is difficult to use as a building block for bioengineering; the domain needs to be larger but retain rigidity. Otherwise anything goes: beta sheets, alpha helix docking, rigid loops, you name it. We've given you 20 extra residues to play with, and frozen the core. See what you can do!
