Description

This is the second round of the density version of the CASP10 target T0691. This time, we've given you server models as starting points, and the density has been updated. The density in the last puzzle was being cut off at the wrong spot along one of the dimensions, and this time around, the density should contain one whole copy of the protein (it's in there somewhere!). Keep in mind that there are some pieces of density from other copies of the protein, and you'll have to figure out which parts actually belong. We're working on some exciting new tools that will allow you to edit which parts of the density you actually see, so stay tuned to the Developer Preview!

Would you please tell us which 'TMPL' from the threading window is which quark or zhang model from 'reset puzzle' ? And also which one is thus missing from the cycling of the 'reset puzzle'. It would save us a lot of time in figuring that out.

Susume Lv 1

Do we know whether the proteins in the ED are arranged as a tetramer, or whether all the monomers face the same way? Do we know whether the ED includes the long leading helix (segments 1-27) which is missing from the published native?

I ask not just in reference to this puzzle, but in general if a protein is a polymer, will the ED have the proteins arranged into that polymer?
