Description

This is the first puzzle to include a new kind of data: Predicted Contacts. You can see the predicted contacts for this protein by clicking the Contact Map button in the Main menu (Selection Interface) or in the Actions tab (Classic Interface). Blue squares represent predicted contacts; a darker blue color means there is stronger evidence for a contact prediction. There is a score multiplier that increases whenever you bring together two residues that make a predicted contact. Find a high-scoring fold that satisfies the most contact predictions!

Here is the sequence logo predicted by the SAM server:

H = helix
E = sheet
C = loop (or coil)

The taller the letter at each position, the higher the probability of that specific secondary structure for that amino acid.

For example, the Valines at residues 2 & 3 are highly predicted to be part of a sheet. However, the Valines at residue 34 is predicted to be in a helix!

The above predictions are already on the starting model (based on the horizontal lines in the above figure).
