For this 136 residue CASP11 Target, T0848, we are starting you off with 2 different server predictions selected by our WeFold collaborators. Resetting the puzzle will cycle between each aligned model and they are available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading between them. NOTE: Numbering is off as the first 24 residues were trimmed (as well as the second half of this CASP target) so these secondary structure predictions might help:

Here is the sequence logo predicted by the SAM server:

H = helix
E = sheet
C = loop (or coil)

The taller the letter at each position, the higher the probability of that specific secondary structure for that amino acid.

Note that these secondary structure predictions are not necessarily present in the models that have been provided in the puzzle.

We were originally not going to participate in this CASP11 target, because at 354 residues it's too big:

but our WeFold collaborators were able to break this protein up into separate domains.

We are giving you this smaller domain, but as the CASP deadline is quickly approaching, we have to make this a quick puzzle!

A speaker of English would use 'S' for sheet. Who came up with the 'E' for sheet? What language were they speaking?
