Zoran Popović is a Principal Investigator of the Fold It! Project. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Washington. He is a member of the Graphics And Imaging Laboratory (GRAIL) and Animation Research Labs at the UW. He is investigating a new genre of scientific-discovery games with Fold It! representing the first prototype. Zoran's other research interests lie in realtime computer animation, and interactive entertainment, primarily in physically based modeling, high-fidelity human modeling, and control of realistic natural motion.
