Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates. Error contacting server.

Getting "Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates: Error contacting server." when trying to "Play online"…I checked, my date is properly set. Any way to download these certificates ?

HELP! im playing on a windows10 and I reinstalled the app but i get the same problem i really would try to see the new tools & puzzles

The Foldit server seems to be having problems right now, mainly "server response 502" or similar issues. Usually, if you try again, the problem clears up. The "server response 502" seems to hit most often while you're opening a puzzle, but it might also show up in other spots.

If you're getting the "peer certificate" error mentioned earlier in this thread, I'd suggest reinstalling Foldit. If you already have an old Foldit (usually in c:\Foldit), specify a brand new location, like c:\Foldit2. Then make sure you have a shortcut to Foldit.exe in the new location, so you'd be running c:\Foldit2\Foldit.exe in this example.
