If i want to add an recipe to foldit, i get this message:
"Please run Foldit to add recipes to your cookbook."
But Foldit is running!
My system:
Ubuntu 9.10, Intel Q8300 , 6GB Ram
and I use Firefox 3.5.8 behind a proxy.
What am i doing wrong?
thanks,

Did you play online and have you been logged in to the foldit website at the same time?
yes, i did!
When i played under windows on another computer, everything is fine. From this i know how to import the recipes. But as soon as i use the ubuntu-machine, nothing relating to recipes is working. Opening the recipes menu leads to the recipes website. A click on the green button brings the error message.
Finally, I found a solution which seems to work.
I just copied the file "all.match" from the windows machine to the linux machine, and until now everything works fine.
the installer crashes near the end of install
configuration:
windows 7 home premium 32-bit
AMD phenom II X4 925 processor 2.80 GHz
4 GB ram installed (3.25GB available)
now it seems i have the same problem as original poster, could someone upload the all.match file somewhere with directions where to put it exactly?
I too finding it impossible to install recipies under windows 7
just as a reference, I don't have an all.match file in my foldit directory in program files
I have a file called all.macro in my program files\foldit folder. It looks like this is where most of the program data is stored. The main executable is in program files (x86)\foldit. I am wondering if this is part of the issue.
Oh, and I also can't download recipes.
maybe making it possible to view all scripts as plaintext on the site could solve this problem, we would be able to copy/paste the scripts.
