Evidently the "right" people haven't scored high enough yet and yet again deadlines have been modifed to suit them.

Obviously, there are problems. But a little more information from FoldCentral would help. What can we do to help? Is there a timescale to resume Normal Service? Can I go on vacation?

Instead of extending the wiggle-fest on this worthless 193 puzzle, maybe we can have some other re-run re-do puzzles to play with?

Brick, I am very sorry that you feel this way and I can promise you that this is not the case at all!

Clearly you have noticed that we are having MAJOR issues with the server, pretty much everything has gone wrong as you can see in the feedback tracker.

We are trying to fix the most urgent things as quickly as we can, but we are not there yet.

For example, we cannot post any new puzzles.
Since we only have 1 non-beginner puzzle up and it was expiring today we did not want to leave you all with no puzzles to fold, this is why we extended the deadline as that is one of the only things we are able to do right now!

We have a bunch of puzzles lined up and ready to go (cover the ligand 2, another freestyle prediction puzzle, and more) so as soon as we can post them they will go up.

I am sorry if you feel betrayed in any way, but we hope you will agree that extending this puzzle is better than no puzzle at all.

Brick, if you are getting bored or stuck with puzzle 193, remember that there are 13 different starting structures. Each time you reset the puzzle one of these 13 starts will be randomly chosen, so hopefully you haven't explored every possible conformation yet!

We are all very sorry again, this is the last thing that we wanted to happen!

Maybe you should consider rolling the entire site back to the last backup before it got trashed last Wednesday?

You do have a backup, right?
