We have very exciting new feature coming up that has now been posted to the Developer Preview: Contests! With contests, you will be able to create and manage your own puzzles to compete amongst your friends and classmates! We'll have more information when we release this feature.
If you are interested in previewing it, you can read the instructions in the FAQ (from the About page). The release notes have additional information on contests. Please log any problems or suggestions in the feedback tracker under the Developer Preview project.
For those of you who didn't find the release notes in the innards of their system:
This update introduces "Contests", which will allow players to make their own puzzles and compete directly with their friends or classmates. You get to decide the protein, the duration, and who gets to compete!
After signing in to the game, choose "Contests" from the main menu.
You should see a list of any contests you are registered for. If not, you can use the button at the bottom of the contest menu to create your own! Give it a title, a description, and choose the protein you want to compete with. On the webpage for the contest, you'll find a link that you can send to anyone you want to be able to compete. If they follow the link, they'll be registered for the contest as well.
Don't forget to join the contest yourself!
For now, the puzzle needs to be selected from a list, however we hope to allow players to upload their own custom puzzles in the future!
