Greetings, everyone. I'm katfish (Kate Fisher), a new addition to the Foldit team at the Center for Game Science. I'm here to be a resource for you all and also to help keep things active and fun in the community. You will be seeing a lot of me in global chat and on the forums going forward.

There's not much noise coming out of the community at present, so I'll fill the void (pun intended) and welcome you to the madness that is foldit.
I would suggest that you immediately join the Void Crushers group as we are always desperate for anyone with a pulse, and an UW insider would be a real welcome to the group.
Tips : watch out for the trolls, and never take the last candy from the fridge.

The IRC chat is not working well. It keeps dropping out and typing is slow. It really needs to be looked into.

i was seeking to try out the game in online mode, but i can't seem to register in the game, simply because it seems to not be able to support the "@" necessary to input my e-mail address
i can assure you that there's nothing wrong with my keyboard, since i registered here right after noticing this problem
any fixes?
also, i would be eternally grateful to you if you could just send the reply to my e-mail adress "andregoncalves90@hotmail.com" since i do not usually visit the forums
