Hi everyone! We are looking into upgrading the development tools we use on OSX. However, it looks like this will prevent us supporting Foldit on versions of OSX before 10.7. Will this affect any players? Let us know!

OS 10.6 is still the non-actual version with the highes market share
(see netmarketshare.com/operating-system-market-share.aspx?qprid=10&qpcustomd=0). It is the last version able to rum PPC code via Rosetta, it is less "I-OS-ified",…

I am running it on some mashines. I would run it on all but some programms I need occasionally dropped OS 10.6 support :-( and hope still to be able to use it for a long time.

I would appreciate if OS <10.7 would still be supported.

it doesn't mean that foldit will instantly break I don't think?

Apple provided the final update to Leopard in June 2011
It is no longer getting security patches. And macs get viruses.
Most Snow Leopard users can download Mac OS X Mavericks from the Mac App Store for free so long as they have the latest Snow Leopard update installed and their Mac was purchased in 2007 or later. i.e. less that 7 years old.
Apple has since released three new iterations of its Mac operating system, including Lion, Mountain Lion and Mavericks. Feb 2014
