Hey everyone,
We've just put out a new release with an exciting new feature - The 'Pick Sidechain' tool!
This tool lets you preview and pick sidechains in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get interface. For more information, read the blogpost here.
Be sure to check it out!
Also included in the update:
General:
- New feature - the 'pick sidechain' tool.
- Added additional logging to track down Windows errors.
- Added an option to appear invisible in IRC by default.
Bug Fixes:
- Better handling of molecules in small molecule design puzzles, leading to fewer crashes and fewer unwarranted "Modification is not chemically feasible!" messages.
- General crash fixes.
- Fix crash with disulfides.
I open. it acts like its going to update then crashes.
- Contact Map, Rama Map, and Blueprint buttons have received new icons for their buttons in Original and Selection Interfaces.
Minor change, but I figured I should put it here to keep the patch notes complete or for other folks who haven't noticed it to appreciate it.
What operating system and version are you using?
I cannot find the 'Pick Sidechain' button you are referring to in the classic interface (much preferred by myself). Am I correct to assume it is only available in the selection interface ?
Right click a segment as you would to use Remix, Cut, etc. and select it from the pie menu. Upper right-ish, if memory serves me correctly.
Thanks for letting us know about new releases of The 'Pick Sidechain' tool along with new feature that will allow users to preview and pick sidechains in a what you see is what you get interface.
