Hey everyone,

We've just pushed an update with some bug fixes:

Bug Fixes:

  • Fix issue where intro puzzle win conditions weren't registering.
  • Fix crashes in intro puzzle loading.
  • Fix crashes with hotkeys during intro puzzle loading.
  • Address some crashes related to switching puzzles.
  • Fixed an issue with Remix UI layout.

Hi,
I updated Foldit this morning and I can no longer start any Science Puzzle.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 21H2 build 19044.1566 (up to date)
Antivirus: Avira Security 1.1.61.26762 (up to date)

Windows event viewer tells (application logs):

I can no longer launch Fold.it. Every time I launch the app it crashes immediately. Using Mac.

Can you share the contents of the Foldit log.txt file? (On a Mac, this is found by right-clicking the Foldit app and selecting Show Package Contents; then navigate to Contents/Resources/log.txt.)

I wonder if there is a compatibility issue with old Foldit files. Do you know if a fresh install of Foldit still crashes on your machine?
