Dear folders, we are having technical difficulties with the Foldit servers. We expect to have the game and this website back up working fully later today. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Erm…you might want to make a quick post to facebook if it's going to take much longer. No one can access your post since fold.it is down (i was only able to because I was once on the "in" and knew about this path to the content.

in a pinch, they could always use netcat as a simple webserver to serve up a single page. useful when the usual apache or w/e server goes down to at least let users know whats going on

may need to change the command for nc depending on if your using nc.openbsd/nc.traditional

I love how I discover this, and am totally excited to try it out, and it turns out that I can't try it out right away. I could try Wine with a windows version, but would prefer the linux version.

Anyone consider hosting the install files or something, unless someone knows the servers will be working properly soon?

Just my luck as well, I've been waiting all day to get started.
I'm unable to download the install files for mac, I'll check back in a few hours hopefully there is a update saying everything is back up and running.

anyone got the install .exe for download at a different link? the links are down too (404 - Not Found). new user here and cant get access.
