I joined on June 4, and since then I have seen at least one major and one minor release get downloaded when I log on.
Looking at the foldit folder (Windows), there is a foldit.exe that still has a May 8 date on it. The uninstaller and icon file also have not been updated.
So - where are these big downloads stored, and where is the new software?
It should be located in your home directory or Document and Settings, the files are hidden so you have to turn on hidden files to see them.
Gee Angus, one of the development team responded directly to your question… you must be in some really elite group with special benefits that are unfairly being withheld from others…. or… they are a very active and responsive development team… I suppose that could be it too.
Let's hope it's the start of a trend or responsiveness.
