Scores adjusted downward?

I noticed that my global soloist score dropped by almost 200 points yesterday. I also noticed that everybody's scores seem to have dropped but not linearly. Anybody have any idea what's going on? Yesterday I was 45 points away from the next ranking…today I'm almost 300 points away!

The global scores only count puzzles for about four months back - so as puzzles get that old, they won't count toward your score anymore.
