Newbie group question

Hi, I would like to set up a number of groups for my biochemistry class consisting of 4-5 people each and then have them compete against one another.

So, my assumption was I'd need to create a group for each of the teams, and then invite specific people into each of the groups.

Does that sound about right or is there another way to accomplish the same idea?

You need to create that many accounts as group you need.
Then each account makes new closed group and invites specified players.
Then you make contest and sending openeing link to each player.

Group need to be created and players assigned b4 you open contest.
