Hello All,
I have been playing foldit on my Windows7 computer since 2010.
Yesterday, one foldit session crashed so I exited my other sessions and restarted my computer.
Now, foldit will not launch properly.
On the first launch, a window opened but it just remains blank until I close it out. All subsequent attempts then first give a pop-up alert: The game has previously not started correctly. If this problem persists, please install the latest version. Clicking OK on that pop-up then allows a foldit window to open but it remains blank until I close it out.
I have tried re-installing foldit into new locations, uninstalling foldit / re-installing, re-installing as administrator, running as administrator, disabling the firewall (but that was never needed before). Nothing works as all I get is the blank window.
The log.txt file in the foldit folder only contains this text:

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get the game to relaunch? Or are my foldit playing days over for good?
