i've been playing foldit without any problem but recently every second time i open foldit and try to log in i have a foldit.exe crash. If i reboot my computer and open foldit again it works properly but if i quit and open it again i have the crash on the log in again.

This would be the best place to post about your crashes, as well as search for a solution. Unfortunately, as we have multiple types of clients, this really isn't nearly enough to go on for troubleshooting.
Some suggestions of information to add:
A DXDIAG (if applicable) or other computer specs
Version # of Foldit client
Sorry we weren't able to help much but those should get you started on the path to fixing things!
Don't worry thanks for the help, i am working on a windows 7 system and with the last foldit client, the one to be downloaded in the main page of fold it. I erased fold it and install it again and for now it seems to be working

Good to hear it got resolved!
Same issue here, crashing when I try to go online, during the logging. Re-installing, worked, but the issue come back.
I'm not sure…. but it strange if i wait intro music to end before logging it not crash.
