Confining Proteins into Spheres using Bands

got me thinking about confining the protein inside 
a sphere (for more details, see

One way to confine the protein inside a sphere would 
be to adapt the recipe BandOntoSphere1.0 (see 
https://fold.it/portal/recipe/102961) using one-way 
bands that only exert forces when stretched past 
their equilibrium distances (for more details, see 
https://fold.it/portal/node/996372#comment-27202).
Nevertheless, for now we don't have one-way bands.
What can be done with the tools we do have?

The goal of this Forum thread is to share some ideas
I have had and hopefully get some useful feedback 
about them. I plan to post more sections here as I 
get the time. If you have questions or comments,

If you do it by hand (I know you don't want to hear that lol) perhaps some bands in space that pull towards the center would work. Sort of like GAB BIS program or Rav3n 's hydropuller recipe. I'm not a coder, but it might work

It's been a long time, but the one-way band feature has appeared in devprev, which is currently release V30-20240129-4706116206-win_x64-devprev on Windows.

As shown here, the right-click pie menu for a band now has the new "disable pull" and "disable push" options.

Neither option appears to change how the band appears.

You can select both of the new "disable" options, which has the effect of the old "disable band" option. "Disable band" does change the color of the band (in a somewhat subtle way), but disabling both push and pull does not.

There don't appear to be any new Lua functions under "band", and I don't see any new arguments for the existing functions. So it seems recipes can't change the push and pull settings of a band.

Would you please let LUA commands change the enable/disable settings for push & pull for one-way bands?
