Thermodynamics of protein folding

Hello - I really enjoy foldit from when I took a microbiology course during my undergrad studies in chemistry (I took the class for fun).

I'm currently in graduate school for analytical chemistry and am taking a thermodynamics course. Part of the course is to give a presentation about a topic related to thermodynamics and I have chosen to study the thermodynamics of protein folding. I'm doing online research in addition to studying what is available in my textbook, and thought that it would be cool to include information about your program with foldit. However, I don't see anything related to the thermodynamics on your website or any of the articles talking about the program. I was wondering if you have done any thermodynamics studies and if there are any thermodynamics within the foldit program when optimizing the folding of the proteins.

My presentation is due in roughly 2 weeks, and I understand if you can't get back to me before then but either way I would greatly appreciate some information about this - while I am not going into thermodynamics or physical chemistry, I find the subject interesting and enjoy seeing how it can be applied to things outside of theoretical problems.

Thanks!
