move tool is hidden in protein

The move tool is often inaccessible, particularly in the current 524 puzzle, is it possible to offset it to the white space so that you can line up a move visually and still access all of the points of the move tool?
The move tool does show up in the white space often when running scripts.
I also find it oversensitive for fine rotation moves but that may be my mouse.

I'm actually working on remaking the move tool. It should be out in the next release. As for this particular issue, another possibility is to just have the move tool be shown on top of the protein.

It would be best to give the move tool its own window to be moved anywhere you want it.
And to be able to specify just movement x,y,z axis relative to the view or rotation x,y,z axis relative to the view.

I find the changes to the move tool are a great improvement and most helpful, thank you jflat.

Unfortunately when you click a segment to give it focus, for example to open the tab popup to check a segment score, the move tool now gets in the way so it can be a bit fiddly, ie take a few tries, to get the tab popup open, especially in tight sections.
