Our group forum is very active (I know, many folders). It's frustrating not be be able to activate the sticky which is listed at the bottom of the forum…
If there is a method (using firefox on a mac) that I'm unaware of, please let me know. Thanks!
+1 built in forum is lacking functionality
Are you be able to edit the a specific thread in the
forum ( a tab next to view ) ? There is a check box
option "Sticky at top of lists" at bottom of the edit
tab, I believe that is the place to make the thread to
be "Sticky", is that the feature you are looking for ?
There is no check box option in edit mode…
here is what is available:

Yep, even I as forum admin not have any additional checkbox.
You are correct, that feature is only accessible to admin. i'll check if we can enable this to group owner and i need to confirm that when a thread is set to sticky, this thread only apply to the group ( on the top of the group forum ), not apply to the whole forums which is not what we want to do.
Is this going to be implemented any time soon? I am the admin of my group, and I want to be able to sticky a couple of important threads.
Also, being able to prevent replies on a topic would be nice.
I'm sure all those many active members of your group are going to lose track of your posts in the group forum. All one of them.
