sort contests to put active at the top

this has been raised before - perhaps active then close date would be a good order

It's what you get when you click on "filter out closed contests"

ah - dumb user - just clicked the contest button on the nav bar - and there were lots of closed contests listed - I didn't really look at the header text. Was expecting to see a list of active contest with an option - if I had looked for it - to show all contests.
