The new client asks for twice the memory than usual.
The fact was seen by auntdeen in mac and is also seen in win7 (me).

Let us know how you went about testing this memory situation marie as I'm not seeing it myself, 600 kbytes to 800 kbytes per client on several clients, pretty much normal since I've been playing Foldit. Folder sizes are staying good. So far rather surprised by well it is doing, at least in my case. I haven't tried Paul Dunn's 627 tho.
Same here, memory usage from 600k to 750k (normal for me) on winpro7.
memory usage come back to normal for me that is around 400 with 25 path in undo.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. One thing to try would be reducing the number of undos that are stored in the game's options. Do you notice a difference when you reduce it?
Is this happening when you load the same puzzle on both clients? What puzzle was this happening on?
Also, when you say 600kbytes, I assume you mean the program is using 600MB of RAM?
585 MB here with Windows 7 64bit.
Puzzle 671 loaded, no script running.

Memory consumption strongly depends on puzzle size. Every 20-30 segments need like 100MB.
Yes MB not K.
The memory sometimes jump but usually less than 400 MBwith only 25 steps of undoing.
