Would it be useful to compile some statistics on the Intro Puzzles?
I went through the puzzles fairly easily until I to Level 5-2 Movin' Along
I would like to see a table of the Intro Puzzles with the average time it
took for all beginners to get through, the average number of moves, and these
numbers for myself.

This isn't a bug.
I intended to select "Suggestion". I thought that I had. Someone with privileges seems to have fixed it. Thanks to whoever it was.

The general advice for the intro puzzles is to take your time , rushing through them to beat your own personal best time / score may be fun and get you more familiar with the tools. I don't think it would be useful to compare people at the intro level, may put off good folders who take a bit more time to get the hang of it.
