I do not view Foldit as a game and never have.
As it turns out, we have contributed to quite a range of open problems in various fields.
What I miss is a running update list of the projects we worked on.
The following come to mind: Ebols, a-beta, catalyst for Diels Alder, M-PMV, Sepsis, the green energy reverse fossil fuel puzzle, the flu cure (seems to be in animal testing phase http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2024389152_folditebolaxml.html !)
why dont we hear more about these progessive steps ?
Would more science puzzles benefit the science ?
Seeing what progress we make will help us stay motivated.
