It would be nice to have an option that displays only disulfide sidechain bonds. The option View, Show bonds (sidechains) is way too cluttered and makes it difficult to spot the disulfides.

I find that using "View Options / Color: CPK" (or any other choice with CPK in it) in addition to "Show bonds (sidechain)" makes them stand out.

That might work for you, but any of the CPK options look worse to me because there is even more unnecessary clutter and the colors are terrible.

On my client, the CPK-only choice makes everything dark except the bondable part of the sidechains and the tips of cysteine are the only yellow ones.

I've tried that option but dislike the monochrome appearance.
What I'm really trying to address are view settings that I use all the time for a particular type of puzzle. For example, dark background, no sidechains, score/hydro, show relative score colouring, show bonds sheet, show exposed are all standard for me. Adding show bonds (sidechains) for me tips the scale from informative to distracting clutter since I only ever use it for disulfide bonds.

I voted up because show sidechain bonds is VERY spammy. Even show backbone bonds is spammy, because of all the backbone to polar residue bonds.
