In both the Original and Selection Interfaces,
to save a png image of your protein to the desktop,
you can press the "Save Screenshot" camera button or use the Hotkey Ctrl+H.
Meanwhile, each of the Global, Veteran, and Group Chat
windows has a camera button to upload a screenshot to chat.
Are there also Hotkeys for uploading screenshots to chat?
I think having such Hotkeys would make the images we upload to chat look better,
because the chat windows in images like below could all be minimized.
Also we would be able to take pictures while performing actions on the screen, like hovering over a sidechain to keep it visible while "Hide all sidechains" hides the rest
If folks are worried about posting by accident to Chat,
you could set up the Hotkeys to work only when
the following conditions are met:
(1) The Foldit client is connected to Chat.
(2) The desired Chat window has an X in its autoshow box.
If there are already too many Hotkeys in use,
you could have ctrl+H be the Hotkey for all screenshots.
The default behavior would be to post a screenshot to the desktop.
If the Foldit client is connected to Chat, ctrl+H would also post
the screenshot to the Chat window with an X in its autoshow box.
If more than one Chat window has an X in its autoshow box,
ctrl+H would post the screenshot to the window with the smallest
audience (Group before Veteran before Global). This way,
accidental posts would cause the least amount of trouble.
