In the same line on rankings, I feel that the 2 current rankings have the risk of blinding the real top "Creators" (authors of the best starting design for a top scoring final result).
Soloist ranking now need 2 types of skills:
- good hand fold skill
- good skill of "evolving" own starting design (selecting right recipes on the right time)
This could blind "genious" hand folders in the ranking . And make them stopping folding ….
We can still observes these expert pure hand folders when they share their solution in our groups, that we further evolve.
The Hand Folding puzzle category does not overcome this problem enough in my opinion: it's too boring making several repetitive tasks only to "fix" a new macro design. A typical good hand folder today also uses some advanced scripts in the mean time, only to "fix" an intuitive macro design.
Is there any mean to reward a soloist who is the start of a top ranking final solution? (other than saying "thanks" in a group chat?
Suggestion:
-giving a bonus to the "first designer" of a final top solution, something like
Bonus = 10 - [rank of the final solution] or 0.
The bonus is automatic for any pure soloist not in group.
