Is anyone else having repeated crashes when using the design mode tool
with this puzzle?

Are you using devprev or main?
Do you have a crash log for us?

Any information you have can help speed up figuring out what's up.

The only time I've had repeated crashes has been when my design has included a number of Parallel Sheets forming Hydrogen Bonds (these are the ones with the \ / \ / shaped bonds in Foldit, less typically experienced). As long as I leave said sheets alone (see: do not disturb their bonds), crashes are infrequent. As soon as I do a global wiggle, that's when problems arise.

Does your design have those sort of Sheet Bonds?

Indeed, by adopting the "leave that manouvre alone" method, I have since avoided
