I have access to Global, Veteran, and Group Chat Windows. I like to X the "auto show" box for all these Windows, but this creates problems when I am reading the Group Chat Window. Often a new post will appear in the Veteran or Global Chat Window, and sometimes this will push the Group Chat Window off the screen. Since more people have access to the Global Chat Window, you'd expect it to have the largest number of posts. Similarly, the Group Chat Window should have a lower number of posts. Why not put the Global Chat Window on top and the Group Chat Window on the bottom?
Another idea would be to let players control the order of the Chat and Notifications Windows from top to bottom. Then players can put the busiest windows on top & the least busy windows on the bottom. Perhaps you could add a setting in the options.txt file to control this.
