Can the RECIPE OUTPUT box be made so we can elongate it like we can the filter box or the chat boxes. That way when we get a lot of output, as in for example the "iwdn HBNW" script, we could take a snapshot instead of having to write it all down or do a series of snapshots so we can have all of the possible result details which we may need to proceed.
<pre>I like this idea, but you can already view all
of a recipe's output using Notepad or Wordpad
on the file scriptlog.default.xml. There you
can easily edit, copy/paste, or print things.
I usually rename key scriptlog.default.xml
files so they won't get overwritten by later
recipes.</pre>
Thanks jeff101. As, always superbly knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate all you do. However, I am not a coder and don't have much time or brain space to learn too many new things due to being a typical deteriorating octagenarian so I would be very of wary to mess around too much in Notepad because I could get myself into some serious trouble. Maybe there are other non-system-savvy members who would also benefit from this change?
A related feature that would help is to be able to
select and copy a large part of the Recipe Output
from the Recipe Output Window. I just checked in
one of my Foldit clients and I can at least use
the left mouse button and drag to select part of
a single line of output. Then I can use control C
to copy the selected part and then can paste it
into a file using Notepad. It would be good if one
could select more than one line of output this way
(or even do select all) and then copy the selected
part into other places on the computer.
Thanks jeff101. Was not aware of that. It does help a little. Yes, select all would be great.
