Many users see a slow chat box. Most are on Windows. It seems to be something with the Windows environment, because the rest of the game function and other Windows functions can be sluggish at the same time.
Not sure but seems as though perhaps the longer the game has been running, the slower the chat window becomes. Much of the time I can only type 1 character per second… and I cannot drag my model around while I've got characters typed ahead. The mouse remains the text icon rather then pointer.
…While I'm on about the chat box… I ALWAYS use shift insert to do a paste shortcut. Don't ask me why, I just find it a little challenging to use the control-v, and other then having it next to the c for copy, v never made any sense to me. I see ctl-v in the chat box works, but shift insert does not.
Also, is there any way to copy text from the chat box? What if someone pastes a URL in there or something I want to use?
