I'm working online, and my network connection appears to be good. However, it has been over three hours since improvements in my score (and hence rank) have shown up in the online data, either the puzzle pages or my personal page.
This has been going on for a few days now, though usually not for this long – more commonly an hour or so. Naturally, this is of the most concern in the last few hours and minutes before puzzles close.
I'm guessing this is a server problem rather than a game problem.
