If I receive a subscription request from a person to join my group, their name does not appear in the group administration page. An email is delivered from admin@fold.it with the usual subscription request, but there is no way to act on the request.
This error has now occurred with two different requesters.
Do you have an estimate on when this problem will be resolved ?

I don't know if this helps whoever is solving this problem, but I am also in a different group, which I would like to leave. If I list the members of that group (ILLINOIS), I can see myself, however, on MY PAGE, it does not show that I am in a group. Also, someone said there were options, on their MY PAGE page to DROP FROM GROUP or REMOVE FROM GROUP or something like that, however, I don't seem to have that.
One of the leaders of the group I wish to join indicated that it might be some specific condition of my id, as the leader has been able to accept other players into the same group.
I would really like to join this group and begin experiencing the EVOLVER environment and help that group's total points (and experience all that comes with a group).
PLEASE fix this soon.

I have seen this thread several times before, but only you gave concrete data, icecubey. When I go to the Illinois group management page, I see your name among those waiting approval.
I will be glad to help in any way I can, as I am very interested in being in the Void Crusher group. The group I started out in, Illinios, I would be proud to be in, however, it appears all of the other members are inactive and I wish to learn more about evolver, and whatever else can be experienced and learned from being in an active group.
Another oddity I noticed is that on MY PAGE, I do NOT show I am in a group. In addition, according to gla, I should have a button / option some where to "quit or drop" from a group. I don't see that anywhere, either. It is as if I am in a group, according so some part of the system or some server or some file(s), but I am NOT listed in a group in other places.
Please let me know what I can provide or do to assist in resolving this.

In the ILLINOIS group, it does not appear that there is anyone there. All of the people's scores are ZERO. Can you REJECT my request to join their group on behalf of them, please, so I can join a group that has interested, active people in it ??

I've rejected your application to Illinois on their behalf. You should now be free to join other groups.
I will see about adding a feature to let people withdraw applications.
I am in. I made it into the group I was interested in joining.

I've found out the reason for this. Subscription request emails are generated, but no link shows up, if the person in question has already applied to join another group. I've changed things so that an application link does not appear if a player has already applied to another group.
