When a protein is being folded and it is told to stop doing a global wiggle, there is a short delay between clicking and the actual stop of the wiggle. If the menu button is hit during this delay period, Foldit will crash about 50% of the time.
This was found on a laptop running Windows XP SP3, with 2 GB RAM, and a 3 GHz processor.
