I recently installed Foldit on a new Win7 64x computer. The installation seemed to go fine, however every time I attempt to run the program I get the error: "Error switching to working directory." Let me know if you need any additional information.
Which directory did you install the program to?
This problem should be fixed now. Please try redownloading and reinstalling the game.
Yesterday Foldit worked just fine. Today Windows said that the program didn't react and shut it down. Installing it again makes foldit work again. This pattern happened a few times now.
have you install foldit in program files?
try this.
Install foldit in c:/foldit
copy all files from the old pcae c:/programmfiles/foldit to the new without replace
open client of the new application (you may have two icons)

program files cause many problems, can you choose another default directory?
Mine is in win7 64 bit and works fine under the program files. But, I have multiple folders and use a different one for each instance of client working.
Im same as smiling one..although I dont have multiple folders etc as I only use one instance of client
Mine won't start at all, regardless of where I install it
Please attach log.txt file from foldit directory. Take it just after crash.
