One can choose to show or not show notes in the original view via modes. However, there is no choice in Selection Interface. Please tell me how to turn the notes off or create a way to do so in selection interface.
Btw, I don't even use notes. A recipe must have created them. Either way, a feature allowing one to turn notes off in Selection Interface is seriously needed.
I add notes to the segments in any recipes that I create or modify so that I can track what has been run on the protein. I would also like the capability to turn off the display of the notes in the Selection Interface.

This feedback is about a UI issue, but one reason the notes can be so annoying is that scripters are using the notes for storage for things like http://fold.it/portal/node/992481 .
It's not just a UI issue. Some add notes to keep track of what recipes they have run. There are several reasons for notes. Bottom line is that we should be able to turn them on or off in both interfaces.

Unfortunately I am unable to turn them off in the selection interface which is less than optimal.
