Devprev crashes

Evening FoldCentral

Seem to be having issues with the latest devprev, where it just disappears with no error boxes, and then causes the rest of the system to slow down and eventually hang. Seems to be fixable, if I change the order I open programs. Usually I open Foldit last, after Firefox (v8) and Chatzilla. Foldit first (fingers crossed) seems to work.

As extra info, I switched to main last night, and left it running. Have come back to find it wiped out again, leaving the OS WinXp in a hung state with no system resources left.

Here's the log.txt - whereas before I was getting line 210 errors with autosave, I'm now seeing line 201 write errors

Could you check your puzzles folder for any files that end with .tmp? If there were still lots of those from when you were on devprev that could explain the crash when you were on main. The new code hasn't gone out to main yet so it shouldn't be creating those extra files at all when you're on main.
