Resetting puzzle doesn't disorients closed alignment panel

With the linux client, puzzle 599, when I:

  1. open alignment panel
  2. add a template from the reserve
  3. close alignment panel
  4. reset puzzle
  5. open alignment panel
  6. add a template from the reserve </ol> the last added template seems to become an unnamed line and/or the second line of the active template. If you leave the alignment panel open while resetting, it behaves in a way I can understand. Workaround: open the puzzle from the puzzle menu.
